About The Dining Playhouse
Founded by storyteller and educator SA Brown, The Dining Playhouse is Atlanta’s home for immersive dinner theater, blending live performance, food, and storytelling. Each event is more than just a meal and a show—it’s an interactive journey where guests become part of the plot, with performances unfolding around them and at their very tables. The Playhouse honors Southern culture and celebrates Black storytelling, creating a space where every guest feels connected.
As a mission-driven social enterprise, we support emerging Black and Brown creatives through paid artistic opportunities and partnerships with Black-owned caterers. By combining high-quality meals, original theatrical works, and support for local talent, we foster community and create memorable evenings that resonate long after the final scene. A portion of every ticket benefits youth arts programs via Reel Action Inc, promoting creative education and economic mobility.
